House of Prayer Edmonton
COVID-19 Update
March 23, 2020

We are temporarily Moving not Closing!
That’s right, we are no longer meeting in a physical location but instead we are gathering Online to keep the region covered in intercession!

We are in unprecedented times with the COVID-19 global pandemic. As a Christian ministry called to cover the region in prayer, House of Prayer Edmonton is steadfast in our commitment to contend for God's Kingdom to be established and His purposes to be fulfilled in the Edmonton region. With the highly contagious COVID-19 beginning to spread locally and its impact being felt in every area of people’s lives, we continue to seek an outpouring of God's grace and mercy. With much thanksgiving we can take comfort in God’s assurances that we need not fear (Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 46:1-2; Psalm 91; Lamentations 3:57).

With this in mind, HoPE also recognizes that we are called to be good stewards of the freedoms that we are blessed with. We are striving to follow all the recommendations of our governments and local health authorities (Romans 13: 1-5), in order to respect our authorities and protect all the vulnerable people of our region.

To respect these guidelines and continue in our mandate to intercede for the Edmonton region, House of Prayer Edmonton is temporarily ceasing our physical gatherings effective immediately and moving our prayer times to a virtual (online) environment.

Please know that we are not in any way closing up shop but shifting our locality to a venue that honors the physical safety of all our intercessors and employees and their loved ones. It is our commitment to continue to minister to the Lord and keep the fire burning on the altar. We invite you to join us as we continue to cover our region in prayer together.

See our prayer times for infromtion on how to join online. If you have any questions or specific prayer needs, please contact us at info@hopedmonton.ca

Yours in prayer,
