One of the great privileges that we have at the House of Prayer Edmonton is our relationship with some of the missionaries from the International House of Prayer (IHoP) in Kansas City. From their own website: “IHOP–KC is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose, as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact every sphere of society—family, education, government, economy, arts, media, religion, etc. Our vision is to work in relationship with the Body of Christ to serve the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.” (for more information about the International House of Prayer, click here)

While House of Prayer Edmonton is not directly affiliated with the International House of Prayer, we have been blessed by God to be in relationship with a few of the leaders there. This relationship has borne much fruit as not only has our team been able to go to Kansas City and learn from the leaders there, some of them have come to Edmonton and ministered to us here (through Awaken conferences as well as other stand-alone events).

The director of the House of Prayer Edmonton, Jim Hall, visited the International House of Prayer in Kansas City in 2009 and had the opportunity to visit with a few of the intercessory missionaries (key leaders) that work there. He specifically interviewed a few of these missionaries and we believe that these interviews can help to edify the Church here in Edmonton. Because of this, we have made them available on our website.
