Mission
House of Prayer Edmonton (HoPE) exists to see the kingdom of God established and made manifest in the city of Edmonton and area. We do this by partnering with God through worship and intercession and imparting to others a heart for the Lord and intercession.

Vision
To be a mature spiritual community united to worship Jesus, and interceding night and day for the fulfillment of God’s purposes in the Capital Region through our submission to the work of the Holy Spirit.

Values

Unity in the Church
We believe that in walking out a relationship with Jesus, Christians in Edmonton and area need to and will stand together in the Spirit, to see the body of Christ in this region experience His commanded blessing. (Psalm 133)

Intimacy with Jesus
Intimacy with Jesus is the foundation of sustained intercession. (Rom. 8:15, 26-27)

Worship, Intercession and Praying the Scriptures
Worship & Intercession: HoPE believes in bringing together worship & intercession, also known as Harp & Bowl, as described in Revelation 5:8.
Praying the Scriptures: HoPE calls the church to the scriptures as a foundation for prayer. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
We believe in modeling, promoting and living out passionate intercession in the context of a love for Christ, His bride and the earth (1 Tim. 2:8, 3:9, Jas, 3:13, 17)
Fruitful Worship & Prayer: We believe that intimate time spent with our Lord should be a fruitful experience that leaves us reflecting more of His image. (2 Cor. 3:18)

Mentorship
HoPE is committed to raising up prayer and worship leaders. (2 Timothy 2:1, Matt. 28:18-20, 1 Tim. 4:6)
